  1. I’m with the classical conservatives up to the right to life stuff. Parents should have dominion over their offspring at least until the child gains sentience/ego demarcation from the mother.

  2. That’s a really telling choice of words. Dominion?

In any case, most people never achieve higher sentience, and in a lot of cases there’s also not a clear disintegration from the parents’ ego either.

Also, what do you mean “classical conservatives”? Paleoconservatism?

To mel: Why was that worth watching? Guy just seems like a magical thinker.

  3. “Guy just seems like a magical thinker.”

Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut.

Sometimes I think the only thing that has saved us is the sheer number of blind squirrels we have.

  4. “Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut.”

    Citation? Heh.

Seriously though, what is the “nut” that you think this blind squirrel has come across? Reverence of the military? Reverence of the founders? Attacking the weakest arguments for abortion, and delivering the weakest arguments against it?

  5. At this point, merely recognizing that taxing the ‘rich’ results in an increase in prices across the board and thus impacts the poor counts.

Do you have any idea how few people, even ‘educated’ ones – especially ‘educated’ ones – realize that?
