Secular Right

I have little time, but I’d like to briefly write about this potentially fascinating new blog: Secular Right: Reality and Reason.

I immediately foresee a problem, though. Secular means “not religious; of the mundane world”, and many people have oddly confused ideas about what religions are and are not.

More to the point, traditional conceptions of the secular encompass all sorts of ideas that, although not strictly religious, are dogmatically ideological, illogical, and contradictory to what we know of reality.

The blog’s subtitle is appropriate, but I worry that the standards it implies will not be applied.
